DLF offering possession or getting rid of flats

Many of you would be getting possession notifications from DLF. Many of you would have visited the site. One common message which nobody would be able to deny is the site condition for a decent living.

You visit the site and it is full of construction activities with labor moving freely in and out. The construction material with risk of hurting the so called possession seekers can be seen everywhere. The question is, "Why is DLF offering possessions when the conditions are far from what one may call for a decent life?". Who is interested in having a 24X7 adventurous life style with construction material acting as missiles and saving your self?

DLF, please do something to take care of your customers and remember DLF exists because of these customers. If an organization adopts a don't care attitude, so will customers and organization will soon cease to exist.

New road to NTH

A new road is being constructing connecting NH8 directly to NTH. The road cuts off NH8 just after Apno Ghar in case you are coming from Delhi towards Manesar. Rest assured once this road is ready, this will definitely be the lifeline for NTH community.

Sample Flat

Finally, DLF has ensured that a visit to sample flat is good enough a reason for property owners to appreciate their buying decision. Sample flat has come up really well. With structure on the verge of completion for most of the towers, its time to focus on the interiors, plumbing, electrical etc.

To ice this up, the road connecting NTH to NH 8 is coming up and you should be using the same in another 3-4 months.

Moving on.....

Looks like things are moving on, but obviously it's now been more than three long years for many people who booked their dream homes with DLF in Feb 2008.

DLF is on the 'verge' of completion of the sample flat at sector - 90 from quite some time now. We have got mixed response from various people. Some are liking it, while others find it a bit small. Guess the final shape will come up only once it is fully completed and furnished.

There are also talks that HUDA may award contract to DLF/private builder to build sector roads. Let's see how soon this is closed.  Road connectivity will definitely boost the area.

Demand for next Installments

As you might be aware that DLF is sending demand letters for next installments. Some of the blocks have reached 8th floor especially in Sector-90 while others are reaching 3rd floor. Some of the blocks are still trying to catch even this much.

Guess, area/surroundings development is one thing which is kind of worrying at this stage.

Construction moving on...

Well, constrcution for most of NTH properties is moving on at a satisfactory pace. Some blocks have moved to 5th floor while others are catching up.

Wish it moves on and on without any further delays..

Corporate Discounts

Folks!!

You might be aware that DLF has provided corporate discounts from 3-7% depending on number of employees from a single firm.

Please update you company data in the database being maintained at Yahoo group (http://in.groups.yahoo.com/group/Newtownheights/). There seems to be last date of 9th May to request DLF for corporate discounts.

So Hurry Up!!

New Package Out

At last DLF has released a new package for NTH customers. The main points include a 5% dsicount on BSP, 10% on SP in case you pay all your installments on/before time and an increase of 5% area without any cost increase.

The payment plan has also been linked to construction instead of time linked plan.

As you might be ware that DLF is coming up with new package which might talk about construction linked plan, reduced prices etc.

There is a Yahoo group formed at http://in.groups.yahoo.com/group/Newtownheights/ who is negotiating with DLF on this package.

Discouraging News

A news arcticle on rediff.com states that DLF has halted the construction at DLF New Town Heights, Sector 90.

It does not list further details like is it a temporary measure and for how long. Will DLF also delay the schduled payments? There are no such details available.

Construction Started !!!!!

As per the information received from DLF, construction has started at Sector-90 project. The construction will also commence at other New Town Height projects in January.

DLF has also confirmed that the three years period of construction will be counted from the booking date instead of buyer's agreement execution date. This is definitely going to build confidence among the customers.

Agreement Status

Folks!!! people have started receiving Buyer's Agreement. You can use this place to discuss the agreement. Jot down any ideas, issues you want to share or highlight related to the agreement.
Meanwhile, do not shy away to add any updates you have on the project.

Pre-Agreement Project Status

Like most of the developers, seems that there is some delay in starting the project. Latest information from DLF depicts that the construction will start post monsoon, sometime in September 2008. The Buyer's Agreement is also expected to be signed anytime in August 2008.
